Using Rebrand DE on NGINX servers

By default, Rebrand DE will hide your Divi theme using a .htaccess file, but this will only work if your site is running on Apache. If your site is running on NGINX, the rewriting will not work. You will need to add the following rewrite rules to your site’s NGINX configuration, in the server block.

rewrite ^/wp-content/themes/Rebranded/style.css /wp-content/themes/Divi/style-theme.css redirect;
rewrite ^/wp-content/themes/Rebranded/screenshot.png /wp-content/plugins/aw-rebrand-de/screenshot.png redirect;
rewrite ^/wp-content/themes/Rebranded/screenshot.jpg /wp-content/plugins/aw-rebrand-de/screenshot.jpg redirect;
rewrite ^/wp-content/themes/Rebranded/(.*)$ /wp-content/themes/Divi/$1 redirect;

Make sure to replace the word Rebranded with whatever you have entered for the theme name field in the Rebrand DE settings.

Hosting with WPEngine

Redirects:
To setup the redirects, go to your WPEngine install and click on Redirect Rules.
Set the three Redirect rules as shown in the image below. Domain will be the domain of the site you are applying this to.
Replace the word ‘Rebranded‘ with whatever you have chosen as the new theme name in your Rebrand settings.
If you need any help with this, WP Engine support will also be able assist.
